Kickstart Norfolk’s Charitable Objectives

  1. The prevention or relief of poverty by the provision of grants, items, equipment and services to individuals in need and/or to charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.


  2. The relief of unemployment for the public benefit of persons who are unemployed or are in low paid work and who are restricted by transport limitations principally by the provision of mopeds or other two-wheeled vehicles on such terms as the Council may decide to facilitate access to and the use of work opportunities or alternative work opportunities and/or training which is likely to lead to work opportunities or alternative work opportunities.


  3. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of people who are socially excluded, and assisting them to integrate into society principally, but not exclusively, by relieving people who are socially excluded through low or no income and who may have responsibilities for the care of a family member by providing mopeds or other two wheeled vehicles to facilitate access to education and /or training and to social exchange to develop opportunities for integration into society and/or work.
